Glimmering Dawn - Chapter 1
Chapter 1: Daybreak At Rock Bottom (BGM: Terranigma Main Theme, by Miyoko Kabayashi and Masanori Hiki) Hark, dear readers, lo… and behold, the veritable genesis of this enthralling, exciting new TALE to be held in the World Of Pokémon, bearing the name… of the Saga of the Glimmering Dawn. Or, as will be shortened, merely Glimmering Dawn… a tale, to be clear, to offer more off kilter twists and turns than one can count with both hands, experiencing with one’s own eyes, how unusually grandiose the World Of Pokémon could BE at a given moment. And indeed, truly, at the Hisuian Ancestral Grounds of where this entire World Of Pokémon first dawned… currently stands Sinnoh, a region that, on paper, on a first glance, had a rather TRADITIONAL approach to the Pokémon League, of Eight Gym Leaders, Victory Road, the Elite Four, and a duel with the Champion, to end all duels… admittedly predictably stuff, one that most Trainers would not even bat an eye at. …But what of a protagonist, prior to

Harem Quest - Chapter 23 [Book One Finale]
Chapter 23: An Unlikely Lead (BGM: Inside the Sandship, from TLoZ: Skyward Sword OST) *Wadjet Chamber, Serpent Scar HQ, Floor F1* And now, dearest readers… we come upon this next legitimately compelling installment of the balls-to-the-wall, robust, unusual saga of Harem Quest, our tale of our ringleader protagonist… and of course his harem, and the quest thereof… and pertaining to The Rout Mission on the Serpent Scar HQ, there was but one glue, holding the Serpent Scar Crime Ring together, despite many dissenters within its ranks, who ultimately wound up, for better or for worse, justifying her rank as the Serpent Scar Lieutenant… and that woman was Caroline Quartzer. With her genuine traumatic tragedy of six years prior to the story’s events, mixed with her massively unhinged personality, vanity, manipulative tendencies, her staunch refusal to simply accept the cards handed to her… and a repressed feral core… it would take nothing short of a crushing defeat to finally wipe her
*Basilisca Market Street, Jacro Harbor, Ludrecia, Marsh Continent* (BGM: Strategy Mode (by Skaven/Peter Habja), from Big Money Deluxe! OST) In this enthrallingly unusual, off-kilter, nigh irreverent swing of the Sweet Saga, this… veritable Sweet Pirate Canon, as it were, one thing that had become incredibly clear among this… considerably wackier, unusual world at whole, with the convenient continental-sized cultural sphere of Harishic pillars left and right as a convenient example, seen with the freaking DMV visit by our own eyes… is that life, in this incredibly outrageously outlandish world… simply moved on, no grand-sweeping earth-shattering quest being enough to keep citizens and Pirates ranting and raving about it forever. And yes, while it was true that a great deal many torches passed along, with the grand weight of the future weighing over a generation, following the dismantling of not one, but two gigantic crime rings from the previous year… time, it would appear, marched

Chapter 22: The Rusted Chef (BGM: Sirius, by The Alan Parsons Project) *Egret Bluff, Serpent Scar HQ, Lamprey Valley, Rocian Province* And now, dear readers… at long last, we cut to this bluff, the tail end of the Serpent Scar HQ, the look-out, the domain in which Byron Fishbach most frequently resided… and where this next enthralling installment of the epic saga of Harem Quest would begin, where, though the orange-adorned Serpent Scar Leader, Byron himself, had stood, stewing over his own thoughts… so too was the woman who truly began it all with The Rout Mission: Caroline. A Caroline… who had her head held down, as Byron had his back turned on her, looking outwards. “…You know the silent treatment is going to continue being applied until you relent, correct?” Byron asked. “…Please don’t twist my arm further…!” Caroline pleaded. “They didn’t take the front entrance,” Byron continued, “they met with a Merlin Order Commander, they’re in the game… and mind you, that was a Merlin
(BGM: High Flying Bird, by Jefferson Airplane) Perhaps… it is time for us to finally begin to come forward about… the FULL picture of what Year 4 was actually all about, pertaining to this Sweet Pirate Canon Universe. A year to kick off in earnest, of course, with one Bonnable “Bonnie” Ludreich giving that visit to The Ascourt Bakery, to commemorate the four year anniversary of the day she first visited Katherine Strutengald and Penelope Ascourt at their bakery, to trigger the events that would cause the following insanity to occur, in this order: First: The complete dismantling of Bonnabel’s villainous endeavors, not once, twice, but thrice, of all measures. Second: Elena Tesla Kartwell’s rise to power on the Marsh Continent, and her twin brother Leonard’s subsequent fall from grace. Third: The long, gradual rise to power of Queen Maria Johannes Strutengald, the Marshav Queen (and Katie’s own mother), and the assembly (and rise of power) of her entire family, of her eldest

Chapter 17: A Fairweather Resolution (BGM: Sexbomb, by Tom Jones) *Heiss Pier, Heitzer Harbor, Pourosia Island, The Next Morning* And now, dear readers… we finally, finally, finally… begin to bring this saga of One Piece: Downpour Masquerade to a close, with its final installment, IN this incredibly monsoon-heavy domain of Pourosia Island, the Devil Fruit-hostile domain that Monkey D. Luffy and co. nevertheless still managed to nevertheless fully embrace whilst on their journey (and in the case of Jinbei, HE actually thrived). The heavy, overwhelming malignant stain on this island, by the name of the incredibly insufferable Dr. Hoz, the mad man to have experimented on unwilling subjects for nearly twenty years… had finally been ousted from power, sent flying off of the island, never to return… and what had resulted was Heitzer Harbor’s population literally exploding overnight, giving word on the going-ons of the mansion that ran rampant for years… some of which included the

Chapter 21: Chamber Of The Cobra (BGM: Arbiter’s Grounds, from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess OST) *Chamber Of Rerek, Serpent Scar HQ, Lamprey Valley, Floor B1* We begin this next unusual, enthralling, foreboding… admittedly ominous installment of the unusually pulpish saga of Harem Quest… in a decidedly far more… mysterious bend. Hieroglyphics, positively lining the walls of this underground abode, held aloft by sandstone columns, dust swirling around the floor, eerie green flames burning in the torches, and peppered throughout, snake symbolism all over… decidedly ancient snake symbolism, of snake murals, carved-in snakes swirling around the aforementioned columns, snake patterns lining the floor… and even several coffins of a snake-headed king with a cane held by his two folded arms along these same walls… with the only outside light being from the side entrance our heroes of The Crimson Spikes, The Stygian Wolves, The Gadric S-Class Trio, and Merlin Order Commander Alan

Chapter 16: The Emperor Theorem (BGM: The Four Seasons Symphony ~ Winter in F Minor, RV. 297 (all three parts), by Antonio Vivaldi) Doctor’s Log, Article #10359: …These weren’t results I was expecting to ever stumble across, when I began this experiment of mine, nearly twenty years ago. This wasn’t a conclusion I’d have expected… anyone to reach… but… what I was forced to witness before my very eyes… defied words. To those who stumble upon these readings of mine… should you have it in your heads to try replicating The Emperor Experiment I ran, don’t. The hubris behind such a line of thought, if you so much as even THINK about actually going through with this, WITH one of these Pirate Emperors, thinking they are mere mortals, will be woefully underprepared for the reality, much like I myself was… honestly, I’m starting to think that maybe The World Government was actually underselling their threat here, I don’t even know if they ARE human beings at all…! …But, I’m getting ahead

Chapter 20: Prelude To A Cornered Snake (BGM: Forest Temple, from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess OST) *Serpent Scar HQ Main Entrance, Lamprey Valley, Rocian Province* And now, we finally cut back to the hidden snake mouth-shaped entrance to the Serpent Scar Headquarters, to kick off this next riveting installment of Harem Quest, with the Lamprey River flowing gently by, the steam still swirling in the air, condensing and cooling to that of mist… the canyons walls were rocky and craggy as always… and from the Falconis bridge above and off to the right of the entrance… some residual ice was coating the guard rails… no doubt due to the fierce Omega-tier ice spell that had been launched not too terribly long ago. We cut to the… admittedly fuming Caroline, who was panting to boot, who upon reaching the snake maw entrance, leaned upon the nearby canyon rock wall, airing her frustration at this moment. “...Who does that filthy, dense, irritating red-haired wretch think he is?!”

Chapter 15: The Boiling Point (BGM: CORE (by Toby Fox), from Undertale OST) *The Arena Attic, Pourosia Manor, Reservoir Bluff, Floor F4* Picture, picture if you will, of this next enthralling unusual installment of the saga of One Piece: Downpour Masquerade, of the penultimate location to the rapidly approaching conclusion to this tale, to bring us here, all the way up, just shy of the roof, the floor directly below, with some of the slanted ceilings, the wooden beams, wooden paneling, glowing neon-colored lines all over, metallic flooring… in the incredibly spacious attic. Of the windows at the north and south walls that were seen, with this elevator off to the west side, leading directly up to the roof proper… the rain was seen at its harshest downpouring strength yet, lending to an incredibly atmospheric mood being established… but we’ve only begun delving into the package here. Gigantic pulsating tubes of purple-glowing plasma was seen, mounted at the corners, and along the

The Metroid Infusion “The SR-388 Mission… that’s where this all began…” A female voice said to themselves. “It was ages ago, but it still somehow feels so recent. I was sent to the planet containing harmful parasitic beings known as Metroids. They fed on life energy, and were deemed a threat to galactic peace. It was my job to take them out. And I did, each and every one." The voice took a deep breath. "Well, almost..." "One baby was left alive, so the Metroids could be studied, and maybe be used to better mankind. Unfortunately, it was stolen. I attempted to save it but, well, it wound up saving me." The voice chuckled. "I owe that Metroid my life. But, with all the Metroids wiped, SR-388 was safe for exploration. Naturally, Biologic, the galaxy’s premier researchers in alien biology, wanted to study the life living on it. I, of course, would go with them as a bodyguard.” A purple spaceship zipped through space, passing by a belt of asteroids. “I thought I knew that planet inside

So, with Downpour Masquerade and Harem Quest: Book One finished, it looks like its time for a change in things. A time to get back to how things were... 5 years ago where has time GONE? The next collab project, which will be taking both the Tuesday and Friday slot, is going to be Glimmering Dawn, a new collab project with good ol' @Ego-Man25 based on Pokemon's fourth generation. Yes, Sinnoh again. I've not been the BIGGEST fan of the more recent Pokemon generations. Never played Alola or Paldea, and while I did enjoy Galar, I don't think a full-blown story is right for it. Along with that, I was never fully satisfied with Supersized Sinnoh, some things were good, I loved the characters, but the ending was definitely not my best. I wanted a chance to do it better, do it right. Glimmering Dawn was made to be a definitive Sinnoh story, so I never have to revisit this region again. At least in long series format. As for solo stuff, yeah it's been a dry spell. It's been hard getting myself
Looks like I'll be working on a Hex Maniac story over the weekend. I have been wanting to do a Kalos-y thing. Thanks to @NoYesNoYesNoYesN for the suggestion!
