Glimmering Dawn - Chapter 7
Chapter 7: The Scarlet Legionnaire (BGM: Buried Relic, from Pokémon Blue/Red Rescue Team OST) *Ravaged Path: When Names Wind Up Becoming Melodramatic* And now, dear readers, we find ourselves in this next enthralling installment of the Glimmering Dawn Saga, where, last we left off, interactions with our titular protagonist Dawn’s now recently expanded team of Pokémon, plus complete strangers of Pokémon Trainers, have finally helped her to start taking her self growth more seriously, catching a Magikarp and Shinx, adding them to her repertoire, and bearing in mind this new enigmatic Team Galactic. Pertaining to an ostensibly “Ravaged Path” here… the absolute worst thing that Dawn came to find were turned-over rocks, and fragile enough rocks on another note… if rocks that just so happened to block her path to the upper exit of Route 204. “...Son of a bitch, that rock is going to give me a migraine, isn’t it?” Dawn asked, bringing Bibarel out. “Bibarel~?” Bibarel asked, only to get

Chapter 6: From Galactic Beginnings (BGM: Cipher Syndicate’s Theme, from Pokémon Colosseum OST) *East Jubilife City: A Mostly Jubilant Environment* We now begin this next unusual installment of the Glimmering Dawn Saga, with not our heroine, per say, but a question: where in the world was our main protagonist, Dawn Vixheart? Where, indeed, was this protagonist, whose explosive battling at Oreburgh City already began making rounds for her and her reputation, despite her only having one badge to her name? This of course was a question that Professor Rowan and his assistant Lucas were both grousing over, eying the… unusual folks stepping out from the north entrance into Jubilife City, chattering between each other… eyes narrowed. “...Are… are they…?” Lucas questioned, only for Rowan to place his left hand on Lucas’s right shoulder. “Let’s wait for Dawn first,” Rowan advised. But then, of course… heavy panting was heard, with labored, staggered steps, and the unmistakably exhausted

Sweet Spice: Expectancy
*Max’s Family House, Basiler Street, Jacro Harbor, Ludrecia* (BGM: The Golden Eel, by Ween) Throughout the previous two Sweet Spice installments of the Sweet Pirate Canon, we had pretty firmly established a fairly solid baseline for one of our two protagonists, one Katherine Strutengald, the close family to be seen, of her father, and of course two of her really close friends, Ashlynn Archender (the Rudalian War Duchess pledging her fealty to Maria’s family), and in the installment to follow, Elena Kartwell, the Marsh Continental/Harishic Block/Piracy Underworld celebrity with four and a half years worth of history with Katie… and where Lena went, Leonard Kartwell would follow… but, of course, there were two such protagonists of this setting, the other being of who the inventive mad genius of this generation, Donna Rivers, and the aforementioned Lena Kartwell, was on the payroll thereof. A protagonist who was one of Katie’s absolute favorite people on this entire Earth, the man who

Chapter 5: Every Trainer’s First Badge (BGM: Gym Theme, from Pokémon Heartgold and Soulsilver OST) *Oreburgh Gym, Oreburgh City, Sinnoh* And now, dear readers, we continue the Glimmering Dawn Saga, picking up steam of all things, with our main protagonist, Dawn Vixheart, despite herself, coming in with strong momentum backing her up, finding herself in the exact type of place that marks every Pokémon Trainer’s journey truly kicking off in earnest: The First Pokémon Gym. Such is fresh atmosphere of aspiring Trainers like herself, with the rocky walls all over, the bridges over the chasms of this indoor arena, of trainers underneath, raring to rumble, and the bridges zigzagging over them, leading directly to Roark at the back… and absolutely none of this, dear readers, not a one, would be complete… were it not for a man, radiating a peculiar aura, at Dawn’s right hand side… uttering these words from his mouth: “...About time we finally had Future Champ show up.” Dawn, obviously

Chapter 4: The Quest For Roark (BGM: Field Of Hopes And Dreams (by Toby Fox), from Deltarune Chapter 1 OST) *Route 203: Gateway To The Oreburgh Gateway* And now, dear readers, we begin this next unusual installment of the Glimmering Dawn Saga, with our titular protagonist in question, Dawn, despite her doubtful self, managing to bring herself to the next big stepping stone in her life: getting her first Gym Badge. To do this, she’d first have to make it through this route that, while still grassy, began transitioning to increasingly mountainous terrain, the further east she went. Almost as if on cue, who was there to wait on her… but her friend Barry? Here he stood, greeting Dawn with a wave from his right arm as she proceeded forth. “Alright, this is good, this is good, you’re goin’ places now, eh~?” “It’s been… quite exciting… to see what’s out there,” Dawn admitted. “Wouldn’t have seen half of this stuff staying at home.” “...Which is why I think it’s high time we progressed

Chapter 3: The Mighty Pokédex (BGM: Onett (with Sunrise Intro), from Earthbound/MOTHER 2 OST) *Route 201* And now, we kick off in earnest the third installment of the unusually captivating, enthralling saga of Glimmering Dawn, where just about anyone, even a rather heavily blubbery young woman spoiled on delectable cooking day in and day out, can find themselves beginning anew, questing forth into the beautiful Sinnoh region, with sunny blue skies, puffy white clouds, swaying glades of tall grass, and this morning breeze, bustling through one’s hair as they begin this quest of theirs in earnest, then and there. This, of course, was the case of our main protagonist, Dawn Vixheart, who despite the incredibly awkward setbacks she had at first… felt ready for the adventure up ahead, even bringing her Turtwig out as she inhaled the fresh, crisp, clean air, her chest and stomach swelling at the moment. “...AHHHHH… I don’t know why,” Dawn stated, “but I’m suddenly motivated to take on

Chapter 2: Enter: Rowan (BGM: Lake Theme, from Pokémon Diamond/Pearl/Platinum OST) *Verity Lakefront, Southwest Sinnoh Region* Now, dear readers, in this tale of the Glimmering Dawn Saga, we finally begin this tale in earnest, kicking back into far more familiar territory, pertaining to Lake Verity, where even Dawn, Dawn with her otherwise largely frazzled and horribly-bent-out-of-shape physique, couldn’t help but freeze over, taking this time to truly… stew over the lake. “...Woah…” Dawn whispered out, taking this moment to appreciate the lake’s view. Barry, of course, took this moment to pat Dawn between the shoulders. “...I don’t know why, but this feels like we’re in the right direction, doesn’t it?” “...I mean, do you see any red Pokémon in the lake here…?” Dawn questioned, leaning forward, squinting her eyes. “...It’s a rather big lake, on another note… buuuuuuut… aren’t Gyaradoses gigantic rampaging rage monsters? Why would they be somewhere like… this serene, peaceful

Chapter 1: Daybreak At Rock Bottom (BGM: Terranigma Main Theme, by Miyoko Kabayashi and Masanori Hiki) Hark, dear readers, lo… and behold, the veritable genesis of this enthralling, exciting new TALE to be held in the World Of Pokémon, bearing the name… of the Saga of the Glimmering Dawn. Or, as will be shortened, merely Glimmering Dawn… a tale, to be clear, to offer more off kilter twists and turns than one can count with both hands, experiencing with one’s own eyes, how unusually grandiose the World Of Pokémon could BE at a given moment. And indeed, truly, at the Hisuian Ancestral Grounds of where this entire World Of Pokémon first dawned… currently stands Sinnoh, a region that, on paper, on a first glance, had a rather TRADITIONAL approach to the Pokémon League, of Eight Gym Leaders, Victory Road, the Elite Four, and a duel with the Champion, to end all duels… admittedly predictably stuff, one that most Trainers would not even bat an eye at. …But what of a protagonist, prior to

Chapter 23: An Unlikely Lead (BGM: Inside the Sandship, from TLoZ: Skyward Sword OST) *Wadjet Chamber, Serpent Scar HQ, Floor F1* And now, dearest readers… we come upon this next legitimately compelling installment of the balls-to-the-wall, robust, unusual saga of Harem Quest, our tale of our ringleader protagonist… and of course his harem, and the quest thereof… and pertaining to The Rout Mission on the Serpent Scar HQ, there was but one glue, holding the Serpent Scar Crime Ring together, despite many dissenters within its ranks, who ultimately wound up, for better or for worse, justifying her rank as the Serpent Scar Lieutenant… and that woman was Caroline Quartzer. With her genuine traumatic tragedy of six years prior to the story’s events, mixed with her massively unhinged personality, vanity, manipulative tendencies, her staunch refusal to simply accept the cards handed to her… and a repressed feral core… it would take nothing short of a crushing defeat to finally wipe her
*Basilisca Market Street, Jacro Harbor, Ludrecia, Marsh Continent* (BGM: Strategy Mode (by Skaven/Peter Habja), from Big Money Deluxe! OST) In this enthrallingly unusual, off-kilter, nigh irreverent swing of the Sweet Saga, this… veritable Sweet Pirate Canon, as it were, one thing that had become incredibly clear among this… considerably wackier, unusual world at whole, with the convenient continental-sized cultural sphere of Harishic pillars left and right as a convenient example, seen with the freaking DMV visit by our own eyes… is that life, in this incredibly outrageously outlandish world… simply moved on, no grand-sweeping earth-shattering quest being enough to keep citizens and Pirates ranting and raving about it forever. And yes, while it was true that a great deal many torches passed along, with the grand weight of the future weighing over a generation, following the dismantling of not one, but two gigantic crime rings from the previous year… time, it would appear, marched

Metroid: Consumption - Prologue
The Metroid Infusion “The SR-388 Mission… that’s where this all began…” A female voice said to themselves. “It was ages ago, but it still somehow feels so recent. I was sent to the planet containing harmful parasitic beings known as Metroids. They fed on life energy, and were deemed a threat to galactic peace. It was my job to take them out. And I did, each and every one." The voice took a deep breath. "Well, almost..." "One baby was left alive, so the Metroids could be studied, and maybe be used to better mankind. Unfortunately, it was stolen. I attempted to save it but, well, it wound up saving me." The voice chuckled. "I owe that Metroid my life. But, with all the Metroids wiped, SR-388 was safe for exploration. Naturally, Biologic, the galaxy’s premier researchers in alien biology, wanted to study the life living on it. I, of course, would go with them as a bodyguard.” A purple spaceship zipped through space, passing by a belt of asteroids. “I thought I knew that planet inside

So, with Downpour Masquerade and Harem Quest: Book One finished, it looks like its time for a change in things. A time to get back to how things were... 5 years ago where has time GONE? The next collab project, which will be taking both the Tuesday and Friday slot, is going to be Glimmering Dawn, a new collab project with good ol' @Ego-Man25 based on Pokemon's fourth generation. Yes, Sinnoh again. I've not been the BIGGEST fan of the more recent Pokemon generations. Never played Alola or Paldea, and while I did enjoy Galar, I don't think a full-blown story is right for it. Along with that, I was never fully satisfied with Supersized Sinnoh, some things were good, I loved the characters, but the ending was definitely not my best. I wanted a chance to do it better, do it right. Glimmering Dawn was made to be a definitive Sinnoh story, so I never have to revisit this region again. At least in long series format. As for solo stuff, yeah it's been a dry spell. It's been hard getting myself
